Geesh - I think we spent over $20 in road tolls just to get from NJ, through NYC, to CT.
We took the Verrazano Narrows Bridge route. It provided some fantastic views of Manhatten on the way past.

1000+ km drive today
Reached northern North Carolina.
We found a nice hotel at a reasonable price; the RoomSaver coupon book is still working its magic.
Deric is presently in the pool and actually swimming (across the pool, without holding on) for the first time ever.
